The Chief Product Officer at HMD Global announced on Twitter that the Android 9 Update is now available in the Nokia Beta Labs for all the Nokia 6.1 Plus devices. The users of Nokia 6.1 need to navigate to the website of the beta and get started with the update.
To go further the user will be required to provide the device IMEI Number and Network Operator in the sign-up section for enrolling. Once you have registered you will find the Android 9 Pie beta version OTA update file. Furthermore, the HMD Global is working with the software support getting the Nokia 8 bootloader unlocked.
