The launch event of Nokia featured some detailed information related to the release of Android 9 Pie update for the Nokia devices. The update recently rolled out for the company’s latest device Nokia 7 Plus. Besides, the Nokia 6.1 Plus unveiling the company also released latest Android updates for other Nokia devices such as the Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 8, and Nokia 8 Sirocco.
The HMD Global has already set up its priorities for the release of the smartphones for the Android Pie air. The release targets all the smartphones that are powered by the Snapdragon 600 SoC series which include the Nokia 6.1 and the Nokia 6.1 Plus. The duo is likely to receive updates this month. Leaving aside the release the Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco are also to get the Android 9 updates in November. However, the company has not yet received any clear date for the launch of the latest update to the smartphones.
The most recent update information coming from the Nokia headquarters is that the company has been running in all with Android One in the past years. Nokia smartphones usually come with a tag of monthly updates for at least a couple of years from its launch. While the event of the device launch the smartphone manufacturer aired that it would soon launch Android 9 Pie updates to some more smartphone that are in the queue for launch.
