২০১৬ সালের ৩০ সেপ্টেম্বর। ‘ধোনি…ধোনি…ধোনি…ধোনি…. ধোনি..’। সিনেমাহল গমগম করছিল এই একটা নামের জন্য। আর পর্দায় তখন ধোনির বেশে সুশান্ত সিং রাজপুত।

খেলার মাঠে গ্যালারিতে বসে থাকা দর্শকের দিকে ব্যাট দেখিয়ে বিজয়ী হওয়ার আনন্দটুকু যেন সুশান্ত নয়, ধোনি নিজেই উপভোগ করছেন। ‘এমএস ধোনি : দ্য আনটোল্ড স্টোরি’তে মহেন্দ্র সিং ধোনির চরিত্রটা নিখুঁতভাবে ফুটিয়ে তুলেছিলেন বলিউড অভিনেতা সুশান্ত সিং রাজপুত।

ক্রিড়াজগতের মানুষ না হলেও সেই সময়ে শচীন তেন্ডুলকর, ইরফান পাঠান, মহেন্দ্র সিং ধোনি সহ সকল খেলোয়াড়ের কাছের মানুষ হয়ে উঠেছিলেন সুশান্ত। আর আজ সেই সুশান্তই আত্মহত্যা করেছেন।।

এই খবরটা শোনামাত্রই হতবাক হয়ে গেছে খেলার দুনিয়া। রবিবার বান্দ্রা থানার পুলিশ মুম্বইয়ে সুশান্ত সিং রাজপুতের নিজের বাড়ি থেকে উদ্ধার করে তাঁর মৃতদেহ।
